" ... Just finished my 2nd week and the results are actually too good to be true. I have lost 1.5 inches off my waist and 12 pounds so far. I do light cardio every other day for 20 minutes and cut my carbohydrates after 9pm. I find it's a total life style co mmitment, but nothing dramatic. Nothing to be afraid of. I do still eat the same amount I did before, which is not an excessive amount by the way, I do not exercise, nor have I ever. The only complaint I have is, well two, is that night I couldn't seem to get to sleep. And there is numbness in my arms. Have anyone expirence that? I have forgotten to take them prior to a couple of my meals but have taken them right afterward (as soon as I remembered). I'm wondering if anyone just takes them in the morning and early afternoon (like many diet pills recommend).
I do see a change in my activity, but haven't really seen anything in the loss department -I'm also on Weight Watchers and was hoping for a boost because I'm in a plateau right now.... I'll stick to it, and hope for the best.
If some of you who are having success could please give me an idea of how this works with YOUR schedule, I would really appreciat it! "

My usual diet consisted of at least 2500 calories a day i'm guessing, and exercise was obsolete. The day i started the pills i began a whole new lifestyle. I now only eat about 1100 calories a day maybe less maybe a little more, it varies. I work out in the gym 5 days a week. the workout consists of 1 mile walk/run, wieghtlifting, leg press, and an oblique exercise. I'm going to take the weekends off from exercising though to let my new muscles re-cooperate.
The main thing Akavar does for me is gives me the ambition to get eat right and exercise. I am going visit friends and family for christmas this year and i am tired of being fatter everytime i see them. I aim to lose 60-80 lbs, not necessarily by christmas, but maybe by next summer. I hope to lose maybe 30 or 40 lbs by christmas if i work hard enough. Good luck to all and don't knock it till you try it, anything is possible as long as you try, the pill doesn't work on it's on, it should be used as a stepping stone, not a crutch. Eating healthy ( doesn't mean that you can't eat foods you love, just in moderation and a little bit a exercise won't hurt, even parking a little further when you go to the store is something.) once you start seeing some results and feeling better, hopefully you would int want to eat healthier and exercise a little more. " ... I had started taking Akavar 20/50 on Wednesday, February 18, 2009. At first I was very scared after taking my first dose because I felt very nausiated, and felt I was going to be sick. I am not a very good pill taker to begin with, and feel sick every time I do, no matter what the pill. The first day I took them, I had three meals a day, so I took 2 pills before each meal. That was a total of six in one day! Whew!! I didn't sleep a wink for two days! My mind was telling me that I was exhausted, but my body wouldn't stop going. So I'm only eating 2 meals a day now and take 2 pills 15 minutes before eating. I usually eat alot, because of depression (ex hot wings, garlic bread and french fries, I would eat them all to the finish.), and I ordered the same things from my favorite restaurant and could only eat a few fries and 4 wings. A MAJOR DIFFERENCE! The pills never gave me the jitters because before I started them I had a more huge addiction than food, Mountain Dew. I would drink a 2 liter a day or a half a case (6 cans). I haven't craved it at all since I started taking Akavar. I was so addicted to MT Dew that I had to have at least 3 a day to keep the caffeine in me to not have horrible headaches. I bought myself one today out of habit, and took aa sip, and it tasted way too sweet and gross. All I've been drinking is water, its what I've been craving. Today I looked in the mirror and noticed that my double chin is almost gone!! So thrilled! Energy! Talk about ENERGY!! Before, I wasn't able to do alot of things because of lack of it. Now I've got enough to share with everyone else..lol. I know that I have lost some weight so far, I can feel it, but I'm not stepping on the scale until the first week is over. I've looked at the scale Wednesday, and I wanted to die. I have never been this heavy (more than 250 lbs) in my whole entire life! That is what prompted me to try this stuff. " ... Well, I did step on the scale today. Since I have started taking AKAVAR 20/50 last wednesday, I have lost a total of 3 lbs. Due to reading everyones (majority of the feedback) I was hoping to see that more had been gone. But then I realize it took me this long to put it on, so it's going to take quite a while to lose it. I tried to drink a mountain dew today, and found that my favorite drink is no longer my favorite. While taking AKAVAR, I crave water and I drink probably twice the amount I should be drinking a day, so I'm thinking that maybe I have lost more weight than the two pounds, and because I'm drinking ALOT of water, maybe I've gained some water weight because my legs are really puffy and if I push in on them it leaves an indentation. Anyone have any clues? Thanks! "

" ... i bought a bottle of akavar in the summer and took 2 here and there but never stuck to it, this week i've been taking them again and plan to keep taking them until i lose my goal of 30lbs . i am also drinking a weight loss tea, i pray with taking the 2 together this weight flies off fast,summer will be here soon and i dont want to be the whale on the beach!!!! and for those that take the pills and work out that complain you are gaining weight,more then likely you are gaining muscle and losing fat and its a known fact muscle weighs more then fat. i will keep you informed on my weight loss. " ... hello, me again.....well its only been a few days since i been taking the pills again. something made me step on the scale even though i kept telling myself 'not till next week' lol but i did it any way and it made my day!!!! according to the scale i lost 3-4lbs yay me!!!! and i really havent been doing anything except taking 2 pills a day and eating a boat load of fiber one products such as the cereal and granola bars, as well as salad and stuff, i do tend to pig out at night though before i go to bed. but hey its working!!!! i am 24 years old and when i posted this 3 days ago i weighed 236 now im 232, i do have alot of muscle and i am 5'7 but having 2 kids 18months apart definitely put a toll on my body. wanna hear something funny? i actually moved the scale to like 5 different locations to make sure i wasnt seeing things lol but its true these pills do work i actually recommend them to alot of people since i do work at a Walgreens. ok im dont chatting for now, ill keep you all updated. have a blessed week "

It's a really great product but you do want to watch your diet as you would with any other diet pill. As usual, when beginning any preion drug or over the counter pill, the possible side effects can be strong in the beginning, and varies with each consumer. I've taken this pill before and didn't even take as much as it said and it kept me from gaining weight and even after i went off of it i didn't gain any weight and ate a lot after about a couple of months though i did start gaining weight and now i have restarted taking the pills except now i take them like I'm supposed to and exercise and diet but that is only because it gives me so much energy and suppress my appetite, the only side effect i have noticed is faintness. From reading all these reviews i think it is because i need to be drinking more water and it doesn't help that i have a fainting disease. Unlike other people i will update and so far i have been on it for 3 days and lost 4 pounds, seems too good to be true but that is about a pound a day i would definitely recommend it. I will probably update in week or two. "
