" ... I've competed in a dozen shows in my life. I have tried all types of contest color and such, however the best by far is the jan tana line. The competition tan goes on so easily, no smears, and doesn't run off under the hot lights. Like I said I have used others, and for me the best is jan tana. Remember to exfoliated your skin before application AND be sure to get a base tan as well starting from about 6 weeks out from a show. Go like 2-3 times a week.. then the final week 3-4 times a week. " ... I use this tan application for every show, 12 now in total. I have tried the dream tan and the protan and those both streak and are very messy. Jana tana tan lotion is the best one for my skin and presentation for the stage. Be sure to get 2-3 bottles in case you run out the day before the show! Trust me, I've heard some pretty freaky stories. "

" ... Just placed first at my first national show.. and I must admit that I did use jan tana products. They really sit well on the skin and leave a nice finish under the lights, even when you apply the oil and such. Be sure to try a coat a month out or so from the show to see how your skin will react. "
