The triceps muscle is actually quite complex muscle, properly names triceps brachii. As you would guess by the TRI term, it is a muscle composed of three distinct areas. These "heads" as they are
coined, are the medial head, the lateral head and finally the long head. In essence, the primary function of the triceps is to extend the forearm, straigtening the elbow. For those seeking to have "big" arms, you would be surprised to know
that your triceps are actually two thirds of your arms size, and your biceps the remaining one third. As with the biceps, and with other smaller muscle groups, it is key that you perform slow and controlled repeptitions and use weights that
you can handle without causing too much strain on the joints. Many females, as they age, as well as males, tend to have some loose "flab" on the back of their arms, usually all it takes is some triceps developement to tighten that area up,
which in essence adds a youthful appearance! Triceps usually require 2-4 exercises to achieve gradual progress without overtraining. Cconsider adding key supplement to your triceps training programs because they can be quite
