Exercise Ab Fat

Not all fat is created equal. Abdominal fat is more dangerous than fat deposited mother parts of the body because it increases the risk of heart attack, stroke and even some kinds of cancer. Men with large waists have trouble getting erections and have lower testosterone levels. Losing weight around the middle is one of the most important things you can do to improve your health. Researchers from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in North Carolina found that exercise alone was better than diet alone for reducing abdominal fat.

Ab fat decreased by 18 percent in women who walked three times a week for 20 weeks and didn't change in women who dieted but didn't exercise. Losing abdominal fat is far more important than looking good in a swimsuit. People with a lot of abdominal fat are more likely to have high blood pressure, insulin resistance, high blood fats and blood clotting abnormalities- all of which increase the risk of heart attack and stroke.
